Mise en abîme d'une oeuvre d'art minimal par Jean-Michel Triponez (extract)

2005
Colour video, DVD, 13'30, Fench/English with French subtitles

This video introduces the “Executive Art Programme“ that aims at helping young artists integrate the art economy. In this first tutorial, an architect explains how it is possible to perform the construction of an almost costless yet interesting work of art. The result most obviously refers to a sculpture by Donald Judd at the Cinnati foundation, but Triponez advocates it is a proper creation due to the changes in context and processes and thanks to the new perspectives the times have aroused.
